Is Delta 8 legal in North Carolina?
To understand how North Carolina’s state laws about Delta 8 work we first should assess the federal laws about Delta 8. Delta 8 is legal- but there’s just a weird rule to follow to keep it that way. For Delta 8 to be legally sourced it cannot come from a cannabis plant because cannabis itself is still federally legal. But, if you source Delta 8 from industrial grade hemp, then you’re totally fine! So the biggest thing to keep in mind when souring your D-8 is that it comes from a reputable lab with access to industrial grade hemp that contains less than 0.3% THC.

Delta 8 is a minor cannabinoid while Delta 9 is a major cannabinoid. Delta 8 can be legally sourced from industrial grade CBD Hemp and is used to potentially combat symptoms of stress, pain and in some cases to help with appetite.
